Chargers rally towels, courtesy of Bud Light, will be passed out to all fans entering the stadium prior to the Los Angeles Chargers' contest versus the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, October 1 at StubHub Center. Throughout the afternoon, the Chargers will amplify the rich history, heritage and traditions of the Hispanic community in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. Kickoff is set for 1:05 p.m. PST.
At the game, the Chargers will honor Dr. Cynthia Telles, a Clinical Professor in the UCLA School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry, as the recipient of the NFL Hispanic Heritage Leadership Award – an award that recognizes the contributions of Hispanic leaders in each NFL market. Each recipient will select an organization of their choice that serves the local Hispanic community to receive a $2,000 donation.
Dr. Telles has served as Director of the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute Spanish-Speaking Psychosocial Clinic for more than three decades while also playing a significant role in national and local philanthropic organizations. Currently the Chair Emeritus of the California Community Foundation, where she has served on the board since 2004, between 2001-2010, Dr. Telles was on the Board of Directors of The California Endowment – the largest health foundation in California. There she served as the Board Chair from 2004-2006 after previously having been elected Vice-Chair from 2002-2004. Additionally, Dr. Telles has had extensive experience serving on the boards of numerous non-profit and civic organizations. She is currently a member of the Board of the Pacific Council on International Policy, the Music Center (Performing Arts Center of Los Angeles County), MALDEF, the National Alliance for Hispanic Health and the Los Angeles Police Memorial Foundation. She has also previously served on the Boards of the Public Policy Institute of California and Pitzer College as well as on Rosalyn Carter's Mental Health Task Force, Carter Center (Atlanta), Goodwill Industries of Southern California and the National Conference of Christians and Jews.
PREGAME & HALFTIME FESTIVITIES
Prior to kickoff, the National Anthem will be performed by The Last Bandoleros while the colors are presented by the U.S. Marine Corps Recruiting Station Los Angeles.
The Last Bandoleros have sold-out New York City's Rockwood Music Hall as headliner and opened for Canadian chanteuse Feist at Webster Hall (NYC). The group has performed live with Sting and were also featured as backing vocalists on his new single "I Can't Stop Thinking About You" currently climbing the AAA radio and iTunes rock charts. Tour dates with The Mavericks, Marc Broussard and Los Lonely Boys have kept The Last Bandoleros busy even as they prepare to release their debut EP via Warner Music Nashville. The Last Bandoleros combine their unique cultural experiences with a rare musical camaraderie to deliver exuberance and joy that are both essential and contagious.
Halftime festivities will feature performances by El Rancho High School Marching Donsunder the direction of Reggie Cordero and led by Senior Drum Major Angelica Ojeda. Hailing from the City of Pico Rivera, for over 60 years the El Rancho High School Marching Dons have impressed audiences with their spirited performances and musicianship throughout Southern California as well as in recent travels to Washington D. C. and San Francisco. At Sunday's game, the El Rancho High School Marching Dons will show off their talents with a Field Show entitled Tribal Affect followed by the beloved March, Zacatecas. Their show will reflect tribal energy and ideologies as well as create a sense of community and the coming together of cultures, ideas, education and traditions.

GAMEDAY REMINDERS
Fans attending Sunday's game are reminded that only the following may be carried into NFL stadiums:
- Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12." (Official NFL team logo clear plastic tote bags are available through club merchandise outlets or at nflshop.com).
- One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
- Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand (no larger than 4.5"x 6.5"), with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the stadium with one of the clear plastic bag options.
- An exception will be made for medically needed items after proper inspection at gate entrances.
- Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, seat cushions, luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size. StubHub Center prohibits the wearing of masks or costumes covering the face while passing through stadium security upon entry, on the concourse and at all concession/merchandise locations. Masks or costumes covering the face may be worn, however, within the stadium bowl in the ticketed seating area. Additionally, costume pieces (e.g., shoulder pads or props) that do not conceal identity may be worn, but must pass through stadium metal detectors and are subject to further security screening.
For fans driving to the game, the parking lot will open at 9:00 a.m., four hours before kickoff. Fans can follow @chargersgameday on Twitter for traffic, Trolley and parking lot updates from the stadium.
CHARGERS WARN FANS TO BEWARE OF FRAUDULENT TICKETS
The Chargers and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department are warning fans to be mindful of the existence of an increased dispersal of fraudulent tickets. The Chargers stress that the only way to assure ticket authenticity is to purchase tickets directly through the team, Chargers.com, Ticketmaster or the NFL's official resale provider – NFL.com/TicketExchange. Tickets obtained from other sources run the risk of being counterfeit.
